On Tuesday the 18th of June this year, we bring together two legends of cricket to the iconic Lord’s Long Room. Both with stories to tell on and off the crease with one of the most prolific run scorers of his generation Graham Gooch OBE and the versatile spin bowler Graeme Swann.
Seated in the Long Room guests will be served a three-course meal paired with unlimited beer, cider, wine & soft drinks for the afternoon. There promises to be a brilliant atmosphere with storytelling from two charismatic individuals and fundraising activities throughout the day all within a room etched with cricket history.
We will be raising funds for The Lord’s Taverners and The Graham Gooch Scholarship having successfully raised over £20k last year.

This summer Synonymous is hosting what promises to be an unforgettable day at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Thursday the 6th of June 2024. Guests will be welcomed at the Queen Charlotte Marquee which is perfectly located close to the finishing line with a private outside patio that gets you up close to the action.
There will be a Champagne & canapés reception to start the day followed up with an alfresco dining BBQ paired with half a bottle of wine per person.
You can get involved with the live action in the marquee with private betting facilities and tipster talk alongside some fundraising activities that tie in with the racing in support of the Lord’s Taverners.
Synonymous has secured exclusive use of the Queen Charlotte Marquee, creating a contemporary yet sophisticated event that is a must-attend on the Essex Corporate calendar. You will be treated to live entertainment with a supporting DJ, exceptional cuisine, and beverages, all while socialising with esteemed sports personalities in our private hospitality suite.

An Evening of Boxing 2025

Following the incredible success of our first two years, our annual Evening of Boxing returns for a third time in 2025! Braxted Park will once again host this event, alongside sponsors Tec Supplies, which promises to be bigger and better than ever. It will take place on Thursday 6th March 2025.
An evening of high class sport and entertainment awaits in aid of Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund. There will be 10 bouts showcasing emerging talent from the Eastern Counties Boxing Association and London Amateur Boxing Association.
Tables of 10 are available, as well as our VIP package which gives you a ringside view of the action. All guests will enjoy a delicious three course meal and a bucket of beers on your table.

Previous Events
Synonymous hosted over 1,000 guests last year at sports-themed corporate events bringing legends of sport such as Harry Redknapp to Essex and hosting our first instalment of boxing + lunch in the Lord’s Long Room.
We raised over £35,000 for local causes in 2023 with the help of the sponsors and guests at our events. We will continue to show our support for the community with every event we do helping to raise the profile of local charities and raising funds for the work they carry out.
