In November 2023 Synonymous welcomed over 360 guests to An Evening with Harry Redknapp at Braxted Park in Witham, raising over £11,800 for The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation. The main event saw Harry Redknapp recount stories from an illustrious career in football, while good friend Ronnie Irani kept the conversation flowing with questions collected from the audience.
There was a great atmosphere in the room as Harry gripped the crowd after they had enjoyed a delicious three-course meal including a Jam Roly Poly in honour of the special guest. The night was made more special for the charity as Harry Redknapp acts as Patron of the foundation, he made sure to encourage generosity from guests.
A VIP experience was also on offer for a limited number of guests who enjoyed a special drinks reception in the stunning main house, with Harry and Ronnie. We will be back with another sporting legend in 2024 to captivate guests from across Essex and London.

Pre-Ashes Lunch 2023

We are thrilled to share that the Pre-Ashes Lunch in the Lord’s Long Room raised over £20k for the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation and Graham Gooch Scholarship.
Our hosts Chris Cowdrey, Geoff Miller and Jeff Thomson kept guests entertained with stories of their established careers in cricket amongst various fundraising activities throughout the day.
Guests enjoyed a three-course meal paired with unlimited beer, cider, wine & soft drinks for the afternoon. There was a great atmosphere in the prestigious Long Room and we very much look forward to doing it all again in 2024.
